The owners gave me a warm welcome, and I’d happily stay here again if I’m back in the area. I had a double room with an en-suite, Freeview TV, tea and coffee, and fresh linen. It was lovely, quiet, and really nice, with parking by the front garden. Mark, from Keighley, West Yorkshire.

I slept really well and had a very good breakfast. The B&B was lovely, and I felt at home for the evening because they made me so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic night. Dave and Emilie

The coffee and three digestive biscuits were just right before I was picked up in the morning. I slept soundly under the heavy coverlet, which had been set out to keep the bed warm. When I arrived that evening, the Proprietor came upstairs with me, carried my bag, and drew the curtains. They were very considerate of my needs and made me feel welcome. I’d gladly stay at Taylard House again, and would give it 5/5. This was my 88-year-old step-mother’s account after I booked her a room for one night.
