It was the quiet break from work stress we needed. The place felt calm and cozy, and we left feeling refreshed. Everything was spotless and comfortable from the moment we arrived, with thoughtful details that made it feel warm and welcoming. We’ve had few stays this good and would happily book again if it’s available. We’d recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

The host made Valentine’s Day feel really personal, helping my partner surprise me with flowers, rose petals, and balloons. The hot tub and sauna were a highlight, especially getting to watch the Six Nations from the tub. Thyme Lodge at Brecon View Eco Resort was spotless and had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the dressing gowns. We had an amazing stay and will definitely book again. Highly recommend!

The location was beautiful, with our jacuzzi looking out over the woods and a little stream. I wanted a quiet, private break with my partner, and this place exceeded my expectations. The home was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

After using the hot tub at Lavender Lodge 1BR with Hot Tub near Black Mountain on 3-4 May 2026, my partner and I both developed significant skin symptoms consistent with folliculitis. An NHS doctor later assessed us, and we needed antibiotic treatment. We reported this straight away to Booking.com and the accommodation, but the response didn’t resolve our concerns. We also asked for the hot tub’s cleaning and maintenance logs, which still haven’t been provided. Communication has been poor, and we had hoped to settle this directly with the property. Given the health impact and safety concerns, we are extremely disappointed and plan to raise the matter further with the relevant local authority.
