Fern Villa Bed Breakfast

I wish we'd had longer to browse their library. Sue and Mike are such kind, fantastic hosts, and the service felt like seven stars. It was much more than a bed and breakfast. Thanks for everything, I'd highly recommend it.

We liked walking over to Fishguard, which took about half an hour, and Goodwick station is only around a five-minute walk away, so this seems a great option if you're travelling by train. We stayed about four nights in early August 2023. The sea and Fishguard views were lovely for us, the rooms were pleasant, and breakfast was really nice, with locally sourced food. The hosts are very friendly and inquisitive. I was surprised it wasn't fully booked in early August, though I guess that's the sign of the times.

The large room looked out over the harbour and was so quiet. We had a lovely two-night stay with Sue & Steve, who were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast had both continental and cooked options, and there was enough to set us up for walking on the PCP. The Glendower pub up the road serves drinks only, while two other nearby pubs do food, and there are fish and chip shops close by. Thank you, Sue & Steve.

When I walked the Wales Coast Path in March 2016, I stayed at Fern Villas and Mike and Sue were wonderful hosts. They helped me figure out where to go for an evening meal, and breakfast was lovely. The room where breakfast was served had wonderful sea views. I'd thoroughly recommend staying here if you're heading out to walk the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
