Jacky made our stay a pleasure, with her warm smile and efficient manner. Breakfast had a generous selection of locally sourced ingredients. Raise View is an attractive stone house on the edge of Grasmere, surrounded by the South Lakes fells. Inside, it's tastefully furnished and immaculately maintained. The bedrooms are ultra clean, comfortable, and finished to a very high standard, with everything we needed for a short stay.

My son gave my husband and me a voucher for Raise View after reading all the positive reviews, and we could see why. Jacky was a wonderful host and cooked a delicious breakfast. The location was just right, with amazing views and beautiful furnishings. We'd recommend a stay here and hope to come back.

We stayed in September and had a lovely time. The location is perfect, and Jacky was caring and wonderful. Our room and bathroom were beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. There are lots of walks right nearby, the Lakes bus stop is just outside, and pubs and restaurants are an easy walk away.

We had a gorgeous stay and will definitely be back soon. The views from every window are stunning, and the room was faultless. From the bath you can see lambs, calves, and hills. The host is lovely and nothing is too much trouble. She also knows the local walks really well. And breakfast was gorgeous, with a great choice.
