Lisa, Jess & Paul were so kind and welcoming when we brought the boys for my nephew's 13th birthday. We had a blast doing the Rage Room and Axe Throwing. I hadn’t realised there was so much else going on here, including gigs and events, so my friend and I want to come back for those too. I’m also bringing my man and stepson next time. I know they’ll love it. Thanks for making us feel welcome and for the excellent service. Highly recommend.

We came for my son’s birthday and tried axe throwing and the rage room. I thought an hour of axe throwing might drag, but there are different games, and you can compete one-on-one or in teams, so the time flew. My son loved smashing glass bottles and crockery, plus two PC monitors and a DVD player (he had to ask me what that was!), and punching a bag in the rage room. If health and safety is your thing, you might want to avoid that bit. It’s a great traditional pub with a twist. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was good and came quickly. Great venue, great people. Totally recommend it.

The atmosphere was great, the service spot on, and we’ll be back soon for round two. We had sharing plates and sides, and also really enjoyed the games room. The Axe Throwing and Rage Room were amazing.

We went for the music event, not to stay at the hotel, and it was spectacular. The Trojan Beats were absolutely awesome, and the sound setup was amazing. It was our second time seeing this band there. Friendly crowd and no issues.

We came to see King Kurt and will definitely be back. It’s an almost purpose-built venue with reasonably priced beer, good service, and good Guinness.
