Premier Inn Harwich

The standard late checkout was especially useful this time. We were planning to see friends on the way home, and the extra time let us sort out work matters before moving on to the leisure part of the trip. The staff are very helpful and friendly, which makes work trips to Harwich, not the easiest place to get to, much more pleasant. Happy to recommend this hotel. I generally have only positive things to say about Premier Inn.

We stayed two nights at the Harwich Premier Inn at both ends of our week-long trip to the Netherlands. The hotel was spotless, from the gardens and car park to the rooms, and the staff were so polite and helpful. Amanda and Jade at the desk were especially good with the parking arrangements. You leave your car at the hotel and make a donation to GOSH as you go, which is a great charity. Thanks for a lovely stay 👏👏

After more than three months here, it really feels like home, and the people feel like family. It may not be the best hotel in the world, but the staff put in a real effort every day to make sure you're comfortable, happy, and cared for. Big thanks to Amanda, Jade, James, Sue, Estelle, Jack, John, the housekeeping team, Reece, Nicole, Yazmin, Sharon, Rhia, Lucy, and everyone else whose name I've missed. You all make the place special.

The staff are lovely, and the rest of the room is what you'd expect at a Premier Inn. But I can't get past the energy-saving showerheads. They give off such a fine mist that you might rinse shampoo out of your hair, but you can't properly get soap off the rest of your body. It feels like being given a room with no usable shower, which is unhygienic and disgusting. These showerheads need to go. If I can't have a proper shower, I won't stay at a Premier Inn again, and with these heads, I can't.
