Rubys Rooms

The rooms are simply furnished with care, making for a calm, restful place to get away and relax. Tony’s hospitality was outstanding, with kindness and top service, and the location was great too. We had an amazing time and will surely be back. Highly recommended!

Kate was a brilliant host, and the lovingly prepared breakfast was delicious and great value. This is a chilled out, down to earth place that felt like a home away from home. We stayed in the attic room, with sea views and plenty of Seagulls. If you’re not used to them, they may wake you at dawn, but that’s seaside life! The house’s mural makes it a great landmark and a fun photo spot along the iconic seafront. It’s a fab place to stay, and the location is perfect for a Hastings trip. We were lucky to get incredible weather, which made a real difference. I’d also recommend the coffees across the road, down the stairs at Starsky and Hatch on bottle alley. Lovely b’n’b.

Our hosts were helpful and happy to provide a cot for our baby, so we felt welcome as a family. The price was great and included a delicious cooked breakfast delivered to our room. It’s an easy walk to both Hastings Old Town and the restaurants of St Leonards. A lovely place to stay, highly recommend.

We had a perfect weekend away with our dog. The hosts were friendly and gave us excellent tips for Hastings and the surrounding towns. Breakfast was made to order and very delicious. A perfect experience from start to finish, and I’d recommend it to anyone without hesitation!
