We're members of the river thames society and often come to the club for talks, quizzes, and meals. It's packed with rowing history, with a beautiful bar and lovely river views from the function rooms. The staff and service are great. A special place, highly recommended.

Lovely views over the river and town, and the service was excellent. It's a beautiful place, and I'd go back just for the breakfast.

We spent the last two days before leaving for France at Leander, and it was such a lovely stay. The great staff made it special. The Art Trail was an added bonus, as was chatting with the talented sculptor Allan Henderson.

I visited with friends who are members. The decking is great, and the location is good, but beyond that I'm not sure why you'd join. The bar staff seemed disinterested in customers and in helping people. They did, though, appear happy to spend quite a while chatting with some of the younger female customers.

I attended a meeting there. It's a nice venue, and they served a great lunch.
