The owner was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy, with everything needed, including tea and coffee and a fridge. Having use of the kitchen and its utensils was a nice extra. There’s also a rooftop seating area, and being right in the town centre is a bonus. I’ll use it again when I’m in the area.

We were visiting a relative nearby, so the hotel’s central but quiet location suited us well. Shops and takeaways close by made evening meals easy, and the car park was very handy. The hotel was very clean, and the owner was friendly and accommodating when we arrived.

The location worked well: step out of the hotel and the main street is across the road, with a few places for food and drink. Tesco and Lidl are about a five-minute walk away. There’s free parking too. My room was very clean and pleasant, with a TV, a fridge to keep drinks cold, and tea and coffee. Meals aren’t available, but there’s a small kitchen with a microwave and toaster, plus breakfast cereal to use.

The rooms are nicely presented. Having a shared kitchen and fridges in the rooms is a great addition to the usual hotel facilities.

What a lovely place. The rooms and bathroom were lovely and very clean, and the owner was brilliant. I arrived before check-in, but that wasn’t a problem. I’ll be back.
