Natalie was lovely and really accommodating. The breakfast was great value for its quality, and the beds were large and super comfortable. I also loved the gorgeous rainfall shower. Everything else, from the location and rooms to the facilities, was impeccable. We only stayed one night and wished it had been longer. We'll definitely be back.

We've stayed at this beautiful property twice, and Natalie is the reason we wanted to return. Our first visit was for my birthday, not long after our baby son was born. We spent one night in the ground-floor Gray Room. We came back over Easter weekend for our anniversary and my husband's birthday, and stayed in the Green Room. The rooms are comfortable, with high Georgian ceilings and lovely en suites with rain showers. The soft white dressing gowns felt like clouds, and breakfast was lovely. You can have it in your room, where each room has a table and chairs. Natalie was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. I'm still expressing milk for my son, and she happily kept it in her kitchen fridge for the weekend. When my husband forgot to hand over our ice blocks the night before, she supplied some for us. She even put up a birthday banner, which was a lovely touch. If you're disabled and can manage a few stairs, there's a disabled parking space very close by, which we managed to get on both visits. The Gray Room is very accessible once you're inside. I'd recommend booking the stunning top-floor Green Room in advance.

The Green Room was beautiful, and Natalie greeted us with a pot of tea and biscuits. We had fluffy towels, soft dressing gowns, a huge, very comfortable bed, a large bath and a separate shower. Each evening there was milk left for our tea or coffee. Breakfast was delicious, with a menu including continental or full English options. You could choose either, or have both for a small extra charge, and pick whether to eat in your room, the garden or the dining room, as well as the time. Natalie brought ours right on time and laid it out on the table. The bed was properly remade and the room tidied each day. The beach is only a few minutes down the road, with lots of restaurants nearby. From the time we booked, Natalie promptly answered our questions and kept us updated. I can't wait to stay again and would absolutely recommend the place.

We had a lovely stay at Lansdowne House, thanks to Natalie, who made us feel very welcome. The guest house is well kept. Our Green room filled the whole front of the house, with a separate, huge bathroom room. Both spaces were nicely decorated and well equipped. We went for continental breakfast, served in our room, and it was delicious and beautifully presented. The location is roughly halfway between Brighton and Hove, so either is an easy walk.

We left the weekend already thinking about when to come back. Natalie was such a warm host, and she surprised us with a free upgrade to the main room. It was spacious, beautifully decorated with hand-picked antiques, and had an incredible bathroom. One of the best little touches was the delicious homemade breakfast delivered to our room at no extra cost. The place is beautiful, the service is warm, and after staying in lots of places in Brighton, this one also has a perfect location. Thank you, Natalie!
