The Olive Branch

We made a last-minute booking at the Olive Branch and had a great stay. Jo welcomed us warmly and was really helpful with parking instructions. It's a lovely, spacious building, and our room was clean, well equipped and fantastic, with a very comfy bed. The rooms were quiet too. We were pleasantly surprised by the full English breakfast in the morning, as I'd missed that detail when booking. Lovely hotel in a great location, and we'd come back in a heartbeat. 10/10.

We needed two rooms at very short notice, and the lovely owners helped us out. Both rooms were immaculately clean, nicely decorated and had comfortable beds. The location was ideal, right in the centre and near a car park. Breakfast was great as well. Thanks Jo, we'll definitely be back! 😊

The only small downside was parking: you'll need to use a nearby car park a short walk from the B&B, and it can cost up to £15 for 24 hours. Otherwise, we had an excellent two-night family break and would happily stay again. We booked a double for me and my wife and a twin for our daughters. The hosts were excellent throughout, breakfast was superb, and both rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is great, close to everything you need.

I loved my roll top bath, and the views from the upper bedrooms are stunning. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and have comfy beds and lovely lighting. Set on quiet, beautiful Fore Street, the place is close to the harbour, cosy pubs and quaint shops, with a bar adjoining it. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere relaxed. I'll remember the best cooked breakfast I've ever had, and the shanty night was a very joyful extra.
