We met the landlady just before leaving, and she was charming. The place is in a residential area and looks a little dated, but it was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and everything worked as it should. They'd left enough food for a decent breakfast, which some Air BnBs don't provide. For a night or two of self-catering BnB accommodation, we'd certainly recommend it.

The place is spotless, but it's on what looks like a council estate 🥴. The bathroom and kitchen/dining room are shared with three other bedrooms. Breakfast was included, though it was just toast and jam or cereal, and you have to make it yourself. If everyone eats at the same time, there's only a small table and four chairs in the dining area. If you just need a clean room for the night and don't mind having no views, this is the place 👍.

The location gets five stars from me. My family are from Hilton in Inverness, so I know the area personally. When I texted, the person got back straight away with clear, prompt instructions, so the service there was five stars too. The room was clean and functional, just what you want in a room. The only issue was that it felt tired and dated. A fresh coat of paint would've got it to three or four stars.

I can't recommend this accommodation. Breakfast is self-service, and there was barely anything available. Thank goodness we'd brought some food with us.
