Inside, this cute cottage turned out to be spacious for three, full of character and well equipped, with clean, comfortable beds. The bathroom is on the small side. It’s opposite the castle, with a tavern across the road, and sits behind a hairdressing salon. Though it’s beside a main road, it wasn’t noisy. We were a bit worried when we first saw the untidy outdoor area.

We were a family of five staying for two nights. The cottage was bright, modern, clean and very quiet, and it’s around a ten-minute walk from the city centre. There’s no parking at the cottage itself, but a designated space is within five minutes on foot. We’d stay again.

It was easy to get around on foot from here, and the location in central Inverness was surprisingly quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.
