Allandale House

We were stranded on the Isle of Arran with two dogs and needed somewhere at the last minute. Mitch was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I’m very grateful for his hospitality and would happily recommend staying here.

The B&B is cosy and peaceful, close to the Brodick ferry terminal. Mitch was friendly and made an effort to get to know his guests. Breakfast was lovely too. I don’t think I’d had parfait alongside a cooked breakfast before, which was a nice surprise. We stayed in October 24 and had a lovely time.

The room was very clean, and that big bath was a real highlight of our time on the island. Tess & Mitch made everything feel personal from the first phone call to booking through to arrival and breakfast. They were easy to approach and a great source of information, especially about cancelled ferry's. I never felt there was anything I couldn't ask. The ferry port is about a five-minute walk away, and the place has a genuinely authentic BnB feel.

We were doing the Ultra Tour of Arran, and Mitch and Tess made our stay feel like the best part of the trip. They were so welcoming, friendly and generous, and even drove us to the event's start line on both mornings. Breakfast was ready when we needed it. The ferry terminal is a quick five-minute walk, and Brodick town is about ten minutes away. We loved our time on the Isle of Arran, with all the chaos and beauty of the UTA, and their hospitality was the cherry on top. Thanks so much for having us!
