The views were lovely, and the local owners were very friendly. The house was comfortable, furnished and equipped really well. A fabulous place to stay on Lewis, probably my favourite holiday spot!

Six stars out of five. Everything worked for me: the accommodation and its facilities, the location, and its position in the Hebrides. A big extra was Marlene’s communication and the way she checked that everything was all right when we turned up at her workplace. I hope it’s still available next time I visit the Outer Hebrides.

Moorpark cottages were a great base for my partner and me as we travelled all over Lewis. The cottage was spacious, fully equipped, warm and welcoming, with beautiful views and a peaceful feel. Marlene and AK were fantastic hosts and couldn’t have done more to help us. We hope to come back soon.

The Islands gave us an unbelievable break. The place was beautiful and very well run. If you’re Scottish and haven’t seen this part of Scotland, you’re missing out. Highly recommended!

A lovely place to stay, with everything you need for exploring Lewis. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, including a washer-dryer, and the hosts were lovely.
