The best part, without a doubt, was how kind Ada and JJ were. After we hit a massive pothole on the way to the hotel, we thought we'd be without our car for the two days we were on Skye. JJ was brilliant and found someone to fix it within hours of us arriving, fitting two new wheels. The hosts were wonderful, and the food was delicious. The rooms were cosy, and the living room with its honesty bar was brilliant too. Highly recommend in every way.

The hosts were incredibly kind, helpful, and flexible. We enjoyed the peaceful, modern, comfortable hideaway, and sharing evening dinners and breakfasts with the other guests. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

We only had one night here, and wished we'd had longer to relax and unwind. The room was beautiful, the atmosphere was great, and breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient, and seemed genuinely interested in giving us the best experience, not just doing a job.

Hame was special, and we'll return someday. We loved the breakfast, with its exclusive menu and dining area overlooking the tranquil water. The rooms have a Scandinavian feel, and the lounge is lovely, with refreshments on an honor system. It's a bit off the beaten path on the Isle of Skye, but it gave us a good inn experience. Not the most convenient base for getting around the island, though. For more dining choices and activities, Portree is a better fit. If you're after a romantic getaway, Hame is great.
