The Croft House

Rosie was a delight. She greeted us when we arrived and shared maps and useful Portree tips. I stayed two nights at the Croft House with a few people from my tour, and the spacious room was spotless, with a cloud-soft bed. There was a TV, WiFi and Netflix, along with coffee and tea bags, an electric kettle and assorted snacks. The private bathroom had all the soaps and toiletries we needed, and each room has its own bathroom and a key if you want one. Rosie made a huge, varied breakfast and let us use the living room too. I loved Portree, and staying at the Croft House was a big part of that. Couldn’t recommend it more, and I can’t wait to return!

Timberbush tours booked this BNB for me, and it was a great experience. The host was friendly and helpful, and there was a wide choice at breakfast. She also left out fruit and other snacks to take along for the day. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, with extra seating, a hair dryer, tea, coffee and snacks. The big TV let me log into my own Netflix. There was a nice rainfall showerhead, and it’s about a quarter-mile walk to the main square in portree.

My wife and I stayed at the Croft House a couple of months ago, and I still wanted to say how much I appreciated the hospitality. Breakfast was the highlight, generous, with loads of choices. My favourite was fresh fruit mixed with yogurt, lemon curd and a little granola. Thanks so much!

The restaurants in town were an easy walk away, and I had a really comfortable stay. My room was spacious with its own bathroom. I was there for two nights, and the host was incredibly kind and made plenty of breakfast.
