The Sunday roast was amazing, served fresh from the self-service counter, where you can choose two meats. We had two roasts and a battered mars bar for dessert. The staff were really lovely, there were lots of drinks to choose from, and the facilities were nice. Prices were good too. Parking gets difficult when it’s busy, but you can park across the road if needed. We’ll be back.

We can’t recommend this place enough. The food and service were good, the prices were fair, and the sweet shop martini was incredible. Easily the best meal of our mini break.

Victoria looked after us and was amazing. Everyone here was unbelievably friendly and went out of their way to help. We had the salt and pepper burger and veggie lasagne, both delicious, and cleared our plates. Such a great time at Romneys, we'd happily recommend it.

The staff were wonderful and made this a five-star visit, and the carvery was good value. We booked ahead for Sunday at this busy place. There was a short queue, then staff served the food onto our plates before handing them over for gravy and condiments. The quality was decent and the portions should satisfy most healthy appetites. I would've liked a bit more meat, and the gravy and stuffing could use some work.

Friendly service and a great atmosphere. There are different types of accommodation, and the location is great. The restaurant does excellent meals, but I'd book a table even if you're staying there.
