Room 8 was on the top floor with great views. It was very clean, with fresh-smelling bedding and fluffy towels. The tea and coffee tray was lovely and topped up as needed. After we got back from running at KMF, the hosts had even baked us a much-needed caramel cake. Breakfast was lovely, made with local produce, and Lorraine was chatty and attentive. Fantastic B+B with lovely hosts. Would definitely come back, thank you.

The New Year treats really spoiled us, with goodies for our welcome, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. I also had afternoon tea for the first time and really enjoyed it. My partner and I had a wonderful stay, and Lorraine and Simon made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s a short wander into Keswick centre. Breakfast was brilliant, and the full English kept me going on some long hikes every day. We’d go again.

That salted caramel cake left outside our room after a day out was such a lovely touch. We had a brilliant two-night stay and felt welcome as soon as we arrived. Breakfasts were brilliant too. Would definitely recommend.

Lorraine was so warm and made us feel at home. They were quick to respond whenever we needed anything. I’m glad I booked well ahead of the trip. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed, with a comfortable bed and enough space for our family of four. Breakfast was yummy, and one day they left us banana bread too. 10 out of 10.

We’ve just left after five nights, and everything went so well. Simon and Lorraine were kind and helpful, and made us an amazing salted caramel cake. The house and rooms were very clean, and the beds comfortable. There was lots of choice at breakfast, and I tried nearly everything. Loved it all. I’ll definitely come back!
