Kay and Innis were perfect hosts. Innis shared lots of local information, which made our stay more fulfilling than if we’d spent time researching it ourselves. Breakfast was fantastic, with eggs cooked perfectly and that same attention to detail we noticed throughout. The double room was very comfortable, as was the small communal lounge, and the kitchen diner made it feel like a home from home. The property is so well equipped, with quality fittings and thoughtful details everywhere. It’s on the outskirts of Kinlochleven, overlooking the town, and everything is an easy walk away. We had amazing mountain views from both the room and lounge. We stayed one night after finishing the NC500, and it was the perfect quiet place to unwind after a road trip. We even took a little walk to Grey Mares falls after leaving, very picturesque. The only downside was our own fault for booking just one night. I highly recommend it, though I’m a bit reluctant to say so in case it’s all booked when we return. 😄
