We had a really enjoyable lunch date at The Rose & Crown. It’s a lovely olde world place in the heart of Knutsford, with a nice vibe, welcoming and helpful staff, and excellent pub food.

The large Haddock was really tasty, and the fries were good too. A great meal on a foolish day: I went to Taton Park only to find it’s closed on Mondays!

A fabulous breakfast and helpful staff in a lovely old pub right in the centre of Knutsford. We’ll definitely stay here again!

The location is great, but being right in the town centre and above a pub means there’s some noise. It was all quiet by midnight. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were lovely. The shower was disappointing, with a very poor flow. Seems to be a universal hotel issue!

We had a very pleasant evening meal, and nobody rushed us off the tables. The bar was busy, and the food matched its descriptions. The burgers were a little pink in the middle, but my steak was superb and the fish pie was good. Parking and access weren’t too difficult.
