There were six of us cycling and staying overnight. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the shower had really good pressure. The decor is a bit tired and dated, and the corridors are a maze, which was interesting. Dinner in the bar was lovely, with the other customers adding a nice atmosphere. All the food was excellent. Jason and the other gentleman, whose name I didn't catch, were friendly and accommodating. There was secure bike parking, plus a lovely beer garden. Excellent value for money. I'd stay again.

The bar had a charming feel, with locals watching football over a pint, and a few well-behaved dogs along for the evening. The rooms are quaint but comfortable, and the meals are superb for a pub. It doesn't claim to be anything other than a small Scottish hotel, run by two brothers. Jason seems to be the main innkeeper, and he handled the bar, dinner, and breakfast for us. A perfect stop for a visit to Gilnockie in Scottland.

Everything worked, and the room was fine. We had an excellent stay and the food was excellent too. Rob was shy, but very friendly. If you're stopping in the area, we highly recommend this hotel, with its pub, rooms, and restaurant.

Five mates and I stayed for a couple of nights while marshalling a rally nearby. The rooms were just right for what we needed, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a cracking breakfast one morning and a good continental breakfast the next, since we had an early start. The restaurant food was stunning both nights. Highly recommend it.
