Elaine and Stephen were such helpful, good hosts, and have made this feel like a special home away from home. The Stable View worked perfectly for our four-night stay with two adults and our four-year-old. We had an amazing time.

The owners were discreet and helpful, and the cottage is in a great spot for exploring the region. It's cosy and tastefully decorated. If you love beautiful houses, peace and quiet, and animals, you'd enjoy it here. At night we heard nothing except an owl, and there are horses, dogs, cats, chickens and a sparrowhawk around.

Paddock View at West Knole House was beautiful inside and out, and just the countryside break we needed from busy lives. Elaine and Stephen were lovely hosts who really made an effort to make our stay special. We took their recommendation for dinner and enjoyed a walk up to the millennium stones. A five-star place, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone after a countryside escape. Thanks for a lovely weekend!

Tastefully finished place, and a lovely spot to stay close to Glastonbury and other Somerset delights.

Stephen and Elaine went out of their way to make us feel welcome at The Paddock View, and we couldn't fault a thing. We had a truly beautiful weekend and wished we could've stayed longer, but had to head home. It's an ideal spot for visiting Glastonbury and seeing the sights. Thanks for being wonderful hosts. We'll definitely be back and are recommending it to friends and family.
