Imperial Hotel

The pool and facilities at Mint Condition were excellent, and having the pool to myself for a while was a real treat. I also had a lovely evening at the bar, where the courteous, attentive team brought such good energy that a quiet solo night turned into an enjoyable one, with red wine and football on my phone. Breakfast was superb, and everyone from the chefs to the servers was friendly, attentive and happy to chat. My room was spacious, warm, well equipped and very comfortable. Housekeeping refreshed it with such care every day that it felt new each time I returned. The front of house team were outstanding from check-in onwards and helped with all my tourist questions throughout the week. The staff are the heart of The Imperial, and they made my first visit unforgettable. I'd happily recommend The Imperial, Llandudno, if you want to feel well looked after.

The staff took such good care of me during a recent family bereavement. When I needed to extend my trip, they arranged everything without fuss. Then I heard the devastating news that another family member had passed away back in Australia, and they did all they could to help me feel welcome and cared for. The hotel is in a great location with beautiful views. My favourite time of day was breakfast on the terrace.

The design is gorgeous throughout, from the corridors and stairwells to the main elevator and reception. Whoever did it should be proud. The rooms are beautiful, with a tasteful, traditional British summer holiday feel. I can honestly say it's one of the nicest decorated hotels in the UK. The shower was excellent, too, with strong pressure and a steady temperature, which is rare in a big hotel whatever its era. Out front, there's a cosy seating area for dinner and drinks with gorgeous views of the sea and pier.

I was working at the hotel for a couple of days and decided to stay overnight. The staff were lovely, welcoming me with smiles, and the room was spacious and had everything I needed. After a busy day, the swimming pool and spa facilities were well worth a visit. I had breakfast this morning, probably the best I've had in all my years working away. If I'm in the area for work or a holiday again, I'd definitely stay here.
