We spent four nights here, using this adorable B&B as our base for exploring the area. It's just across the road from Loch Linnhe and well placed for lots of hikes and sights. Lorna, Angela and the rest of the staff made us feel very welcome and had great suggestions for things to see and do. Our room was on the small side, but quiet, cosy and comfortable. Each evening, we also enjoyed the curated whiskey tastings in the parlor. There's an eclectic selection of local whiskeys, so both enthusiasts and beginners like us can enjoy them.

We were still talking about our stay at Craeg Mhor Lodge through the rest of our trip around Scotland. The breakfasts were delicious, with a thoughtfully laid out spread and a freshly cooked egg dish or something else of your choice. We also had a lovely sunny, cosy lounge for reading, relaxing, enjoying whiskey or having a warm dinner. One evening, a mandolin player played us several tunes. The staff were so welcoming, and the Lodge sits right on loch Linnhe with mountains behind it. Fabulous!

Roadworks made us arrive pretty late, but the staff stayed up for us and were patient and helpful, which made a stressful situation much easier. We loved the beautiful setting and spacious room, and breakfast was great. There was live Scottish folk music in their delicious whiskey bar, with the loch and mountains behind it. Perfection. The second photo shows the view from our room 😍

Angela, Lorna and Liza work so hard to make sure guests have a great experience. Creag Mohr Lodge was the highlight of our Scotland trip, with an amazing view of its own and a great location for exploring the area. We can't wait to return!
