Mark & Mary were very helpful and friendly owners. It’s a good base for exploring the area, with some nice places to eat within walking distance. The help-yourself breakfast setup was nice too. I’d have given it 5 stars if they’d cooked me a full Scottish breakfast.
The house was super clean, with the whole place to yourself, and the hosts were brilliant. Shops, restaurants and pubs are close by, so the central location is perfect. Fantastic bed and breakfast, definitely recommend 👌
A comfortable, lovely cottage with all the cooking equipment provided for self catering. The beach is a 10-minute drive away, and there are mountains to climb.
The room was comfortable, so no complaints there, and we enjoyed chatting with the two other guests. This was the least expensive place we stayed, and that showed in the self-serve breakfast and limited internet access.
I stayed here a couple of years ago and thought it was a very nice place. I meant to come back last year, but covid stopped that. Hopefully there’ll be somewhere to eat next time, as everything was fully booked when we were there. On the plus side, the homemade shortcake was amazing. I’ll definitely visit again.
