Carol was a fabulous, attentive host, and breakfast was a treat, especially the delicious homemade jams and my locally sourced English. Everything was clean and tidy, and I slept really well in the Amy Johnson suite. It's in a traditional manor house and has a shared bathroom. I was fortunate to be the only guest there that night. This B&B is just an hour out of Glasgow. I'd highly recommend it to couples or solo travellers who like a mature, traditional setting, peace and quiet, and the chance to disconnect and unwind. Very nice!

The house is beautiful and peaceful, with a relaxed atmosphere. The living room has a log fire and big TV, a nice spot to unwind, and the Egyptian theme in the bathroom was perfect. Carol was a very good host and made us feel welcome without ever making us uncomfortable. Would highly recommend. Jamie & Megan

We had a wonderful place to stay for our wedding day, with a fantastic breakfast, a beautiful location and spacious grounds. Carole, the gracious and witty Housekeeper, made the visit ideal. Nothing was too much trouble. Our four-poster room was completely spotless and had lovely goodies in it. The en-suite bathroom decor was fabulous, and I almost wanted to take it home. It has to be seen to be believed! Many thanks, Carole. We'll be back next time we visit bonnie Scotland. Marilyn and Ray love you and it!

Carol, the owner, made us feel so welcome at this beautiful, stunning house. We stayed here while getting married in Gretna Green, just a hop away. The breakfast was fantastic, and it was a real traditional B&B. Lovely place, great value, and we'd definitely stay again.
