The drink prices felt very fair for London, and the staff were friendly. We came in for a drink before heading to a nearby vegan restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the pub. There was plenty of room between the tables, and the background music stayed quiet enough that we could chat without raising our voices. The food menu looked good too.

We stopped for lunch at this lovely neighbourhood pub and left full and happy. The fish and chips came in a generous portion, with a good balance of fish and batter. I had the turkey breast special, which came with seasonal vegetables cooked just right and plenty of gravy. The burger was fresh and juicy, with crisp chips, and everything tasted great, proper British comfort food. It was quiet when we visited, but still had a nice holiday atmosphere. Service was friendly and prompt without hovering, and we never felt hurried along. We'd recommend it if you're nearby and want a meal.

The steak pie made a good first proper English meal for us, and the toffee pudding afterward was even better. We were due to have dinner here with a tourist group, so we arrived early for a drink in the main bar. It's a cozy place, with tables tucked into just about every nook. The staff were super friendly and the food was good. Thanks for a great introduction!

There’s a lot of character in the building’s structure, though the heritage details are fairly subtle. The side snug has a big wooden fireplace and felt suited to couples having a chat. At the front, the huge drinking hall looks out over a little local square and an alley leading into Earls Court. Inside, high ceilings sit above high tables with stools, soft tall benches, and a few lower, comfortable seats. The bar has a banking hall feel, with a very modern industrial back bar and an excellent range of draft beers. An old corner pub in London’s suburbs, with contemporary lighting from task lamps arranged like spiders.

Really like this place. The interior is nice, the beer is good and the prices are fair. Staff are so friendly, too. The fish and chips and the Korean chicken wings were both fantastic. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
