Breakfast was quick and generous. There were fresh pastries, tea, coffee, and juice while we waited, and the eggs royale was excellent, with yolks that were perfectly runny. The hotel is an unexpectedly lovely find. I stayed one night with my sisters for a nearby event. It looks unassuming outside but is really cool inside, and the basic rooms are well equipped. The wet room has a great rainfall shower, and the bed was comfortable. I wear earplugs anyway, so outside noise didn't bother me. I liked the idea of the games room and library, but would have preferred to make coffee in my room instead of going out. It's a great place to stay, just as the website says: everything you need and nothing you don't. We'd absolutely return.

The old textile warehouse has been turned into a gorgeous hotel, with an industrial look, lots of wood, and low lighting. The whole place was spotless, the rooms lovely and clean, and the reception team warm, welcoming, kind, and friendly. Service was impeccable, and the food was fantastic quality. My niece and her boyfriend stayed for the weekend with breakfast and dinner included. The kids felt safe and comfortable, which mattered a lot to us. Whitechapel station is about a three-minute walk away, and Whitechapel market is two minutes away. Brick Lane is walkable in 15 minutes; you can see the City from New Road in the distance, and it's about a 20-minute walk or a few Underground stops. There are loads of great places to eat nearby, plus local history spots like the Jack Ripper walking tour and Whitechapel Museum. Bus Stop A for the National Express to Stanstead Airport is literally around the corner, a two-minute walk. They've done a marvellous job here. We'd all stay again. I can't recommend this fab hotel highly enough, I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Our first UK stay was perfect, and we miss everyone! I felt like I was in heaven at this lovely hotel. Everything was so clean, and towels, tissues, and other supplies arrived at our door within minutes. The staff went above and beyond with travel help, supplies, and bookings. Thank you, Olena, Rame, Adnan, and Safiya. The restaurant was amazing too, thank you, Christina. And thanks to the Housekeeping team, Roxana, Natalia, and Maria, and everyone else who helped make the stay so special. ❤️ 🇬🇧❤️ 🇨🇦

Dinner was lovely, and breakfast was decent too. The scrambled egg brioche was tasty, though I found a hair in my pastry. We were also charged twice for one coffee on our card statement. I can't be bothered to chase a few quid with the hotel, but that pretty much summed up the stay. The place looks much better online than in person, and even with our Travel Tuesday deal I wouldn't return unless standards seriously change. We stay in lots of London hotels from 3 to 5 stars, and this was one of the most disappointing. We definitely wouldn't pay the regular price. We looked at other dates and laughed at the idea of paying £400 a night. The room was clean but tiny, and the hot tub was great. The wet room layout wasn't ideal: the shower was by the door, so using the toilet or sink meant getting your feet wet. For one of the hotel's most expensive rooms, we expected a king bed and electric roller blinds, since other rooms seemed to have them. There were no bedside tables, so at night we had to perch our things behind the headboard. Basic amenities were missing too, like a kettle and water. There are hot drink stations on each floor, but they feel more like hospital canteens than a four-star hotel. The “fitness area” was a stairwell with a yoga mat and a few kettlebells. The AC was noisy and temperamental, and the curtains didn't block the morning sun well. The blinds everyone else seemed to have would have been ideal.

The location is the one drawback, it feels a little rough around there, though the area seems to be getting renovated. Inside, there’s a lot to like: a roof terrace, small library and games room, plus a decent bar and food. The rooms are small, but usually very well priced, with comfortable beds, heating and air conditioning, and a decent shower. A superb little find, and I’d happily recommend it.
