Dev, who owns the Curry's Cocktail Club right beside the hotel, was incredibly welcoming, a real gentleman. He said it was "his hotel," so I'm assuming he owns both places. The reception staff were welcoming, helpful and attentive too, and I want to be clear that my complaints aren't about them. The room itself had problems. The sockets on one whole side didn't work, and there was no base for an electric kettle. It also never got cleaned during our three-night stay. Nobody entered apart from us, so we slept in the same bedding each night. The breakfast was poor: a few cereal containers, bread left out in the open, cheap coffee, some croissants, and a bowl of oddly coloured, dirty-looking liquid left by the food. It ended at 9am, which can be normal, but being ushered out just after nine felt rude. For around £200 for three nights, I expected a lot better. I also wasn't sure it felt safe, given the dead sockets and the fact that the breakfast room's entrance seemed to double as a fire exit. The whole stay was a bit bizarre. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're really stuck for options, and a few things need improving.

The staff have been friendly, helpful and attentive, and breakfast has been fresh, tasty and well prepared each morning. I've stayed at Osterley Park Hotel for five days, and the room has been clean, comfortable and well maintained. The hotel feels calm and welcoming, with a homely atmosphere throughout. It's been a pleasant stay, with good service and good value.

The rooms were the real problem: basic upkeep, no room service during my stay, and one side of the room had no working electricity. The kettle base was missing, though they replaced the kettle without any fuss. The staff, on the other hand, were really kind and helpful. They let me leave my bags early and pointed out a pleasant walking route to the local Tesco. Curry's Cocktail Club was another plus. For what I paid, though, I wouldn't recommend the hotel based on those positives alone.

The breakfast room felt creepy and had hardly anything to eat. In the room, the walls and sheets were dirty, while the lamps and doors were broken. Easily the worst room I've ever had. You get what you pay for...

The room was really clean and spacious, and we had everything we needed. It did get too warm for me, though. A big thank you to the reception team for being so helpful. It was a great stay.
