Tudor Court Hotel

The staff were lovely and helpful, and housekeeping did a very good job each day. Special thanks to Hakeem, Mehiti, Budha, Anna, Michaela and Connan. The room was basic, small and old, which matched the price, but it was clean and had loads of USB and power sockets for charging several devices. The safe was easy to use. We could hear some trains, though it wasn’t an issue unless you’re very sensitive. One small suggestion: a kettle that detaches from its base would be a modest improvement, since unplugging it from the wall to refill it was a pain. The location worked perfectly for getting around by public transport. Paddington station is across the road, with direct trains to and from Heathrow that are much faster and cheaper than a taxi or Uber. There are plenty of places nearby to get a proper morning latte if, like us, you don’t drink instant coffee. The area stays busy, so coming back late always felt safe. A very nice stay.

We stayed a couple of nights and had a great time. Mehdi was especially friendly and gave us really good tips for getting around the city. The hotel is close to Paddington station, so getting here directly from the airport costs very little. The room was clean and good, though a bit small, like most London hotel rooms.

The room for three was perfectly adequate for our two nights, with a garden view, big TV, hairdryer, fridge and tea and coffee facilities. The beds were comfortable, and the shower room was spotless and just right. Staff were friendly and accommodating. It’s a five-minute walk to the transport links, so the location is very convenient. There’s no lift, and the stairs are narrow and steep, so keep that in mind. Also, the person who makes the booking needs photo ID at check-in. We’d definitely stay again.

The rooms were just the size we needed, and they were clean and comfortable. The mini fridge was just right, and the kettle worked perfectly for tea and coffee. Staff were the friendliest I’ve met at any hotel, always welcoming and ready to help, whatever time we got back, day or night. It’s only minutes from Paddington Station. Thanks for a great stay, we’ll definitely come back!
