There’s plenty of space for everyone to spread out, with lots of bedrooms and great living areas, so this works really well for families or groups of friends. It feels like a proper home, with everything you could need and all to a very high standard. Alex & Tracy were quick to respond and did everything they could to help. They even left a welcome basket with food, milk and other treats. I highly recommend it.

The garden and tree house were a hit with everyone, and the location is beautiful. Inside, there’s lots of room for a family or group, including three comfortable lounges that were great for spending time together. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Alex and Tracey were easy to reach. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful weekend, and I’d definitely recommend this place for a family or friends’ celebration. It’s fairly remote, but ideal for getting together, and there’s plenty of parking. The house sleeps up to 14, including one bedroom with two double beds. Tracey and Alex were friendly and helpful, and have made the place something special. Outside, there’s a lovely area with a tree house, a hot tub and horses in the next field. There are three separate lounges and two kitchens, one of them industrial-style and well suited to cooking for a big group. Inside, the kitchen is very well stocked, with all kinds of crockery and pans. We had afternoon tea, and the full vintage china set was perfect. The bathrooms are well equipped too, with lovely toiletries, shampoo and conditioner, and both a separate shower and bath in each. Four bedrooms have their own bathrooms, two share one, and there’s also a downstairs toilet. I booked the cottage for a relaxing hen do, and it was absolutely beautiful. Thank you, Alex and Tracey, for such a lovely weekend!

Timberstone was just right for a weekend with friends. The house had everything we needed, and then some, and the hosts were so accommodating. Finding wine and goodies waiting when we arrived was a lovely surprise, and much appreciated. We’ll definitely come back.

There were 15 of us at this superb cottage for four nights over Christmas 2021: 12 adults, three small children and our Cocker Spaniel. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend staying here at any time of year.
