Travelodge Lutterworth

The only upside was the location just off the motorway. For work, I occasionally stay in hotels, and this was the worst stay I’ve had. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows completely flat. There was no reception for calls in my room, so I had to go outside to phone. Travelodge’s usual 30 minutes of free WiFi never works, because they want you to buy overpriced packages. They sold a meal deal room, but there’s no restaurant on site, and the Marston’s next door isn’t associated with the hotel.

The family room price for a weekend is very attractive. The staff were warm and supportive, and that’s what stood out about the hotel. There isn’t a restaurant inside, but there’s one next door, or an Aldi across the road.

Ann gave us a lovely welcome and quickly fixed the problem with our TV remote. I’d accidentally picked a first floor room, and she changed it to the ground floor for us as well. The room was clean and spacious, and the location was perfect for visiting relatives. We’ll definitely return.

Ann deserves a special mention. She was extremely friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. All the staff were kind and helpful, and I had a wonderful stay at Travelodge Lutterworth. I’ll remember it and will definitely be back. Thank you all.
