Amazing View

It was a lovely touch that the owner was flexible and reasonable when I needed to add a few days to my stay. I was working while I was there, so I was out each day and didn't get to visit the pubs and cafes in the quaint local town, though I would have liked to. My dog and I loved the place. There’s a great dog walk from the top road into the forest, and the views really are amazing. The apartment is spacious, with two double bedrooms, a bathroom, a large lounge and a good-sized kitchen. I also appreciated the vestibule for wet coats and muddy boots. It feels private and secure, has its own entrance, and can be reached from either road, with enough parking on both. The roads are quiet and have no through traffic. It's on the upper levels of a house on a steep hillside, up several flights of steps, so it wouldn't suit someone with mobility difficulties. From the moment I came in, though, I felt at home.
