The Old Station House - B&B

I stayed four nights last July, a year ago. The breakfasts were fantastic. At first I wasn’t sure about sharing a table with the other guests, but they were all lovely people. My room had a folder full of walks, each with clear details about the route and how easy or difficult it might be. That was much more useful than a map. There were copies to take, but I just photographed them on my phone. I hope to come back, maybe this year.

We’ve just spent three days at this B&B, and Victoria was a friendly, welcoming host. Her breakfast was superb, freshly cooked each time, and the lovely homemade bread was toasted, just as other reviews mentioned. It’s well placed for Chatsworth House and the surrounding area. I’d definitely stay again if I’m back nearby.

We chose the old station for a two night stay while visiting the area for Chatsworth house at Christmas. The B&B is only a few minutes’ drive from Chatsworth, and there’s a great pub just round the corner. Our host was friendly, the place was very clean, and breakfast was great. We were really pleased with our choice and would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

Victoria looked after us so well during our three night stay at this lovely B&B. The breakfasts have a legendary reputation in past reviews, and we agree completely. There’s off-road parking, stunning countryside and an excellent location close to Chatsworth. We have no hesitation in recommending it as a great place to stay.
