Moxy Milton Keynes

The room was tiny, but comfortable for one person and maybe even two. I still really enjoyed my stay, though the drain pipe smell in my room every day was a real issue. The staff kept opening the window when they came in, so they knew about it. Otherwise, it's an exceptional hotel, fun and thoughtfully designed. The decor is cool without trying too hard, the staff are super personable, and every space feels natural and comfortable.

Check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff were very friendly. It's a pleasant hotel with a cool, youthful feel. The room design was fun, the temperature was good, and it got completely dark, with no annoying light from the TV or smoke alarm. I liked the little light that comes on under the bed when you put your foot down. Only downside, there's no shoe horn!

The rooms were clean, and the reception had a lively vibe. Chris and Virag made check-in easy and helpful, and I appreciated their support. Chris even came outside to show me where to park. The staff also catered to my halal dietary needs. I'd definitely stay again, and hope they're paid more for being so helpful.

The rooms are small, as at other Moxy hotels, but perfectly workable. If you need a big desk to work at, you won't find one here. The business district location is handy, it's clean and modern, and the bed was very comfortable. Service was friendly, as you'd expect from Marriott, and there was plenty of hot water. There's a huge amount of common space on the first floor, with pool tables and lots of other amenities. It's kind of crazy how much communal space there is. The workout room is nice too, with a couple of treadmills and plenty of free weights. There are a couple of restaurants across the street, and you can eat at the hotel. A very large Sainsbury’s is across the street as well.
