We spent three nights here, and Nick and Maggie were helpful and lovely from the moment we arrived. They shared great suggestions for towns and places to visit and lent us maps for finding trails and footpaths to beautiful spots. The hotel was very clean, which matters to us, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast has several options, including a vegetarian one, and there’s free parking on the property. If we return to the area, we’ll stay at Overstream Guest House again without hesitation.

The owners are so welcoming and really look after you. Breakfast is fantastic, and they greeted us with tea and cake, a lovely touch. It’s a clean, friendly guest house, with daily papers in the lounge and a bar if you fancy a drink.

Nick and Maggie take personal care of their guests and make sure they have a nice stay. The tea and cake they provided were a lifesaver, as all the restaurants and tea houses had closed by the time we arrived. Everything was sparkling clean and well cared for. Thumbs up!

I came for a second visit and got the same friendly welcome as before. The beds were comfortable, and the newly enlarged shower room was very nice. If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely come a third time.

Cosy, spacious and comfortable room, and very clean. The owner was really friendly, and breakfast was great. Definitely recommend this place.
