After a four-hour drive from Wales, we arrived late, with the kitchen already closed, but Eric still cooked us a superb ham, egg and chips. The welcome was great, and the rooms are such good value, almost like a suite. We'll be back.

The landlord is very friendly, and there's a large car park round the back. We paid £10 for a whisky, sherry, and bottle of ginger ale, which seemed very reasonable. Great atmosphere too. We'll visit again.

The food was incredible, especially the best burger I've ever had. It feels like a family place more than a pub, and the locals come in regularly. Lovely people and a great atmosphere. And England beat Serbia 5:0 again!

We were in the village for the weekend and stopped at the pub for a couple of meals. Both were very good, with the Sunday carvery standing out. We'd happily eat there again when we're in the area.

We stopped for lunch after walking around Snowdrop Valley. The food and service were great, and it had a friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend it 😃
