The rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern, and the price is fair. My issue was the very low ceiling in my top-floor room, which hadn't been mentioned. Anyone over 5ft10 wouldn't be able to stand upright in there.

A friend lives there. The hallway is spotless and well kept, and there's a lovely front entrance with plants on either side of the parking area.

It felt welcoming as soon as I came in, and the room was cosy and really clean. I’d happily stay here again when I’m in Northampton, and would recommend it.

My partner booked and paid in October 2019 for the last two rooms for one night in July 2020, as part of my 40th birthday present. Then on 13 January 2020, she got an email saying the booking had been cancelled and the money refunded. When she checked the website, all the rooms were available again, but the price had gone up by over £300, probably because they realised it was British GP weekend. She called to ask what had happened, but the person who answered couldn’t explain, so she asked to speak with the owner. He called her the next day and was rude, didn’t seem to care, and swore repeatedly when she asked why the booking had been cancelled and whether they could help sort it out. The customer service was extremely poor. I’ve given one star just so I could post this review.
