The Quays By Greene King Inns

I was on my own with two children under four, which makes going out for lunch a difficult task. The staff made it much easier, from the soft play through to the restaurant. They were friendly and accommodating throughout. I'd booked the wacky warehouse for the children and lunch afterwards, but hadn't realised I needed separate bookings for soft play and food. It was a busy Sunday, so staff passed my request for a table on to the lunchtime team. When I arrived, they'd already reserved one for us. They also helped clear away things we didn't need while the children were being a bit disruptive, and gave them plastic cutlery to play with and some colouring.

We had a great evening meal, and breakfast was hearty too. Kaz and Nicola served breakfast with a smile and kept the area in good order while looking after everyone. The Quays was a good stay, with a clean, comfortable room and a warm welcome from all the staff. I'd highly recommend it.

We had breakfast on New Year's Day 2026 and it was good value, with nice coffee and food. While waiting for the cooked breakfast, we could help ourselves to the continental items. The waitress was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed.

I really enjoyed my four weeks at the Quays. Kaz and Ray were excellent, and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always on time, with a lovely range to choose from. Couldn't have been happier.
