West One Studios

Parking was awful, with a really narrow driveway, and the checkout time of 10:30 didn't seem to mean much: housekeeping tried to get into the room before 10. The studio was also advertised as having AC, but there wasn't any, just a fan. At 9 in the morning, window cleaners were working where they could see straight into the studio, with no warning. Completely unprofessional. I'd avoid this place. Whoever runs it seems to care nothing about hospitality, and after that disgusting treatment, I want a refund.

A quiet, spotless studio apartment with everything well equipped. The location is handy too, about a 3-minute walk from a Co-op market and around 10 minutes from the town centre, where there are bars and restaurants. I'll definitely stay again.

My 17-year-old daughter booked a £90 room at West One Hotel, and they took a £150 security deposit upfront. A few days before the stay, West one cancelled because of her age. They didn't charge for the room, but the deposit still hasn't been refunded. This feels like a scam and is completely unacceptable. We haven't been able to get through to anyone despite calls and emails. The booking was in December, and two months later there's still no refund. If someone at West One sees this, please sort it out. Who should we contact to get the money back?

Basic and clean, and the location worked well for our stay in the area.
