The room was big, the bed looked comfy, and for once there were two chairs for two people. Everything was clean and tidy. I don't like all the screens at check-in, but that's how it is. Charging £5.00 for Wi-Fi is ridiculous when it's free all around.

After being in at Ebrington, we stopped here. We had the better room with a mini fridge and coffee machine, and it was good and nice and quiet, which we needed for our trip to the Ashmolean in Oxford. Breakfast was OK. We'd stay here again on another visit to Oxford.

Check-in was easy, and the rooms were clean and a nice size. Parking was very reasonably priced. The TV had good, accessible connections, and we plugged in the firestick quickly. There was an espresso coffee machine too. Overall, very pleased.

I paid £125 each for two rooms. Mine faced the main road, and it was so noisy. There's a manhole cover out in the road, and every time someone drove over it, I jumped out of my skin. It was past 11pm with no sign of things getting quieter. I was a big fan of Premier Inns, but paying £125 on a Tuesday to listen to traffic thudding past all night is unacceptable. I have major surgery tomorrow at John Radcliffe hospital. They've just lost a customer.

It's not central, but the bus just outside runs regularly and takes you right into the centre, so that wasn't a problem. The hotel seemed quite modern, and the rooms were in good condition. Breakfast was the usual good standard. We had trouble checking in, though: the machines weren't working, staff struggled to get us logged in, and we never got two working keys. I always love a premier inn.
