We stopped by on a Monday evening when the pub was quiet. The woman who served us was lovely and happy to help with anything. The food was all fresh and homemade, and the portions were generous. They love dogs there too. We’d recommend this pub to anyone and will definitely be back!

We stopped in for Sunday Dinner while visiting family, and the carvery was amazing. The vegetables were proper home-cooked, and the joints of meat are steamed for a lovely taste and texture. Desserts are homemade too, and the cheesecake was absolutely heavenly. I’d recommend it 1000%.

The Farmers Arms is now high on our list for Sunday lunch around Cornwall. The carvery was excellent, with three delicious meats and plenty on the plate. It’s a large place, but the interior still feels cosy and country-like. Staff were friendly and seemed happy, always a good sign. Dogs are welcome in certain areas. Thanks to everyone there.

At The Falmers Arms, St Merryn, Chloe took care of our table and checked that we were all right. We also saw her help a disabled lady get to her table, and she was very kind about it. The staff seemed happy working together and helping customers. The carvery was fresh and hot, with lots to choose from, and everyone we dealt with was polite and friendly. Such a nice atmosphere.

There were ten of us, and everyone had an amazing meal. The chef even made a couple of menu changes and added something that wasn’t listed, which was really good service. Both the food quality and the service made the prices feel well worth it. We’d definitely recommend it and will come back when we’re in the area. Thanks to all the staff for a brilliant evening.
