I found the hotel a great base for exploring, and it brought back memories of my childhood. The room was clean, though smaller than it appeared in the booking.com photos. Wendy kindly let us bring in a mini fridge since there wasn’t one in the room. Michelle, who checks on guests each day, was lovely, made us laugh and shared little anecdotes and tips on places to visit. Breakfast was great each morning, thanks, Des. Wendy gave us a warm welcome and chatted with us over breakfast. Well worth a visit.

Wulfruna is a lovely place, and Wendy and Des made us feel welcome. Their breakfasts were so good that choosing one was difficult. I’d recommend staying here. Thanks, Wendy and Des.

This was the worst holiday experience we’ve had. We went during the kids’ half term, but it felt like being back in the pandemic: the room wasn’t cleaned, there was no friendly atmosphere, and the cereals weren’t topped up. Our shower was broken too. Never going there again. My brother and his family stayed two hotels down and got waffles, croissants, hot chocolate, honey, maple syrup and cream at breakfast, plus full room service. They even dried the kids’ wetsuits. We’d rather stay there next time, especially since it cost the same.

Wendy and Des made us feel right at home and would do anything for you. Breakfast had a great choice and the food was out of this world. I especially recommend the Full English, and the hotel too. We’ll definitely be back next year.
