The Hungry Horse next door does good-value breakfasts, including vegan choices, so I don’t feel a need to stay elsewhere. I’ve been to Purple Roomz three times, even though I rarely return to the same hotel, because it suits me so well. It’s easy to find near the main routes, and I’ve never noticed traffic noise inside. The staff are always friendly, brilliantly Lancashire, and the rooms are spotless and spacious. A real gem.
The room was quite large and clean enough, and the shower was amazing. There aren’t any water-saving devices fitted. The food next door was really nice too. I had trouble with payment from my company, which was our fault, and the lady at reception was very patient and helpful.
We only stopped over, and it was great value for what we needed. The lady on reception was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, with plenty of milk, coffee, tea and sugar. The shower was great, though I had to angle it to get underneath because I’m tall.
Stayed last weekend. The rooms were clean, presentable and up to standard, and it wasn’t too pricey. Checkout at 11am was good.
I’ve just come back for another couple of nights, and the rooms are still as comfortable as ever. The place is clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome. It’s a great spot for a few days, and I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area visiting family.
