The room was lovely and cosy, with really comfortable beds and everything we needed, except salt and pepper. It was spotless too. The room looked different from the photos, but we actually liked it even more. Thanks for a great stay at SACO Castle Crescent. I’d happily come back if I get the chance.

The room itself was spacious, clean and very good, and the place was kept nicely. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the town centre and 20 minutes to the station. But there was no housekeeping during my stay. On the third day I had to ask for tea, coffee and towels, and the reply was very tardy. Communication and check-in were frustrating. They wouldn’t answer emails until a few hours before check-in, no matter how many times I contacted them. I was close to thinking it was a scam. I’d asked several times about arriving early, was told it would be fine, but they didn’t arrange it, so I waited about an hour. The bathroom lock is old and needs replacing. I got stuck in there once and was terrified, so I left it unlocked for the rest of my stay.

The place feels dated, and the price is high for what you get. Maintenance is an issue too. It really needs a major renovation.

Ricky was amazing and really helpful. My adult children and I had a wonderful stay, and the beds were comfortable. We’d definitely come back.

The accommodation was peaceful, bright and spacious, with everything I needed. It’s well placed for getting to the town centre and train station. Ricky was so helpful and wonderful. I had a great stay and would definitely return.
