Breakfast by the river Rother, in the bright and airy restaurant, is a memory we’ll treasure. There’s a broad menu, with traditional and less traditional choices, all made to order, and everything we tried was delicious. Our en suite was warm and spotless, with a huge, comfortable bed. Every staff member was cheerful, welcoming, and helpful. We were greeted with homemade cake and tea or coffee when we arrived, and had a lovely two-night stay. I’d recommend Haydens both as a five-star B&B and for brunch, coffee, lunch, or cake. Thanks for making our time in Rye so enjoyable.

The Sandpiper room had a lovely view, a beautiful bathroom, and a really comfortable bed. It was spotless, too. Breakfast has a big menu, and the cheese and chive scone with poached eggs and trimmings was delicious. The staff were attentive, and the owner was lovely. We were offered 10% off a future booking and will definitely return. It’s a gem in a great spot, right in the heart of Rye. On arrival, we were treated to complimentary tea, coffee, and delicious homemade cake.

We had a lovely lunch here on a sunny Saturday. We hadn’t booked, just dropped in around lunchtime, and they still had a couple of tables free. There was plenty of space, the tables weren’t crowded together, and it wasn’t noisy. The menu had so many options we had trouble choosing, but we were happy with what we picked. The service was nice, and I loved seeing fresh flowers all around. I’d absolutely recommend it. This review’s about the restaurant, in case anyone was wondering about the food.

We hadn’t been here for breakfast in ages and had forgotten how good it was. The food is excellent quality for a good price, and the team’s service is even better. We won’t leave it so long before coming back.
