Jeremy and Paul were great hosts, and breakfast was very nice. My partner and I had a lovely two-night stay in the stunning Landsbury room. Number 5 is right in the centre of Rye, close to public transport.

The breakfast was generous and really tasty, and the location puts you seconds from shops, sights, bars and restaurants. We stayed in the stunning Lansbury Room, with a comfy bed, lovely bedding, fluffy towels, toiletries, a coffee machine and a huge shower. It was spotlessly clean, with excellent facilities. We did hear a little road noise, but that was a small trade-off for being so central. We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend it.

Jeremy was such a lovely host, and breakfast was delicious. The rooms were comfortable, clean and nicely presented. A wonderful B&B in the centre of Rye. I’d happily come back!

I’d booked three nights at Number 5 in Rye, but accidentally made a double booking and didn’t arrive. I went there in person to apologize, but the owners weren’t willing to be flexible. They offered 25% off a future stay, which I won’t use. There was no refund or empathy, and I even overheard them talking about me at a local bar. It was very disappointing and unprofessional. The place might be great when everything goes smoothly, but if something goes wrong, don’t expect kindness or understanding.

The rooftop terrace was a lovely spot to unwind in the evening, and breakfast was outstanding. Our room was clean and nice, and the stay felt super comfy and friendly. Parking was nearby, about 200 meters away, and reasonably priced at 3 pounds per 24 hours. Couldn’t have been better.
