North Bay Guest House

Donna and Mark made sure we had everything we needed, and the North Bay Guest House was spotless and really well presented. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice and generous servings. We mentioned in passing that it was my wife's birthday, and found a complimentary bottle of Prosecco in the room when we arrived. It's about a 10-minute walk to the open air theatre and 15-20 minutes into town. We'll definitely be back. Don't stay anywhere else in Scarborough. Just here. 👌🏼

I've already booked my next break at this comfortable guest house. The owners go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, and the hosting is excellent. Breakfast is amazing, too. Five stars don't really cover this North Bay of Scarborough gem or its excellent location. It feels like a home from home.

The room was meticulously clean, and this is a fantastic spot for a few days away. Donna and Mark were terrific hosts. Their welcome was second to none, and they looked after me so well. Donna and Mark were so welcoming and helpful with all our questions about the area and local facilities. We stayed in the spacious family room with our seven-year-old son, who's on the autism spectrum. Some things can overwhelm him, but Donna reassured us that his little quirks were fine. The decor was lovely, the beds comfortable, and there was plenty of storage and hanging space. The Wi-Fi was a godsend for our son to use his tablet and for us to sign into Netflix on the TV. We arrived to chilled drinks, sweets for the little one and bottled water, along with a kettle, mugs and plenty of tea and coffee. Donna cleans the place herself, and it's absolutely spotless. Breakfast was amazing: Mark cooks with high-quality ingredients and gets everything just right. I avoided the scrambled eggs the first morning because I hate them dry and overcooked, but after seeing my husband's, I chose them the next day. The sausages were delicious and clearly good quality, too. There was also a full English, cereals, pastries, and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, plus plenty of tea, coffee and juice. We had a wonderful, welcoming and relaxing stay at North Bay Guest House, and hope to return. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Donna and Mark.
