Tom made our Sunday lunch memorable with friendly, polite and efficient service. The food was tasty, well presented and very reasonably priced. It was a relaxed, enjoyable afternoon, with first-class food and service.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our lovely overnight visit. Dinner was a huge fish platter with fries, and breakfast was cooked piping hot and tasted excellent. I couldn’t fault the stay.

The young man serving us had a great sense of humour and a lovely manner with the guests, which made the afternoon tea even better. The food was lovely too: sandwiches, superb scones, meringue and sponge cakes. My traditional sausage roll was excellent, and the vegetarian sausage rolls for my wife and daughter were delicious. I’d mentioned their dietary needs when booking, and it was remembered when we were seated, with the food kept separate. We couldn’t finish everything, but they provided a box so we could take the rest home. It was a birthday gift and we couldn’t have been happier. We’ll definitely return.

The 'Sea for Two' sharing platter was fabulous, made with locally sourced ingredients. We had a beautiful lunch in a lovely setting, and the friendly, helpful staff added a lot to the occasion.
